Delhi NEET Counselling 2022 admission procedure, also known as DU NEET, is expected to begin in the last week of January 2022 (tentatively). The Delhi Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will administer NEET 2022 counselling on lieu of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Delhi NEET 2022 Counselling will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) for admittance to MBBS and BDS colleges affiliated to Delhi University (DU) and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU).

There are 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and 85% state quota seats reserved out of the total 660 MBBS and 50 BDS seats. Through the IPU MBBS, BDS 2022 admissions, the IPU will offer 555 MBBS and 50 BDS seats. GGSIPU is connected with six colleges, five of which are medical schools and one of which is a dental school. GGSIPU is connected with six colleges, five of which are medical schools and one of which is a dental school. All of these colleges are part of the Delhi University system. The third or mop-up round of Counselling is being conducted by the conducting authority, depending on the availability of seats. The mop-up round is scheduled because seats were left unfilled following the second round of Counselling.

Delhi NEET Counselling Eligibility Criteria

A distinct type of eligibility is required for Delhi MBBS Counselling. Candidates should ensure that they meet all of the following eligibility requirements:

  • The candidate must have passed the NEET 2022 exam.
  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen. Candidates who are PIO/OCI are also eligible to register for DU MBBS 2022 Counselling.
  • The candidate must have passed from a recognised board/institute with a Class 12 credential or equivalent. In addition, the qualifying test should include Biology, Chemistry, English, and Physics as core subjects.

Seats will be reserved based on the candidate’s category, according to government and MCC guidelines. Reservation is based on the category information provided on the NEET application form and the Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMSc) registration form. The following are the reservation requirements.

  • NEET result 2022
  • NEET 2022 admit card
  • Recent passport size photographs
  • Demand draft of Rs 1,000
  • Certificate of having passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination, showing the subjects offered by him/her in the examination.
  • Certificate from the Board from which he/she passed the High School/Higher Secondary Examination, showing his/her date of birth.
  • Certificate/Marksheet from the Board from which he/she passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination showing that he/she has secured 50% or more marks (40 % in case of SC/ST candidates) in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology and pass in the subject of English (Core or Elective or Functional)
  • A person with Disability (PwD) certificate, if applicable
  • OCI Card for Overseas Citizens of India.
  • Migration/Transfer Certificate from the University/Board last attended by him/her.
  • Certificate from the prescribed authority showing that he/she belongs to a Schedules Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/OBC category. (Applicable only to candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/OBC category).
  • Any other document as may be asked for bythe University/College.
