Only candidates who passed NEET 2022 and were chosen by Andhra Pradesh for state-level counselling would be allowed to participate in the admission process. The allotment of 85 percent of State Quota Seats through Andhra Pradesh NEET Counselling would be based on NEET 2022 results.

Andhra Pradesh NEET Counselling 2022

Andhra Pradesh State has 2360 MBBS seats in 12 Government Medical Colleges and 2650 Private seats in 17 Private Medical Colleges, including 250 seats in 2 Muslim Minority Medical Colleges.

In Andhra Pradesh Open State, residents of Andhra Pradesh can take admission on government and private seats, but residents of other states can take admission in the management quota of private medical colleges.

Andhra Pradesh NEET Counselling 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Qualify:

Candidates must achieve the authority’s cut-off score in the NEET examination.

A candidate’s has to be 17 years old at the time of admission.

In the eligibility test, the candidate must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually.

Domicile :

Candidates must be Indian nationals or holders of PIO/OCI cards.

Candidates must have both local and non-local status in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Candidates with a valid AP state domicile will be allocated state quota seats.

Candidates from Andhra Pradesh are ineligible for the 15% All India Quota seats located outside of AP that are allocated through NEET counselling. They are only eligible for AFMC, Pune seats based on the 15% All India Quota.

andidates who are not domiciled (born in the state) in AP but have been living in the state for a time can apply for AIQ along with a self-declaration form.

These candidates will be ineligible to apply to any of Andhra Pradesh’s medical/dental colleges.

Andhra Pradesh NEET Counselling 2022 Process

Registration

Login to the NTRUHS official website, apmedadm.ntruhs.ap.gov.in.

Hit the Online Registration link and enter details.

Submit by hitting the Validate button. The online registration is done. Now, sign in with the Andhra Pradesh NEET Counselling registration number you created.

Fill out the Application form with your personal and educational information.

Submit an application form by clicking the submit button.

Make a note of your registration ID and password for future use.

Make payment for the application fee.

Print a copy of the completed application form.

State Merit List

NTRUHS will publish a state merit list on its official website for candidates who have successfully completed the document verification process.

The merit list will include the names of Andhra Pradesh NEET Counselling 2022 registered candidates, as well as their state and category rankings.

Choice Filling

Candidates must select colleges/courses based on their preferences.

The selection process will be divided into two rounds.

There are no restrictions on the college choosing procedure.

Seat Allotment List

The selected candidates seat allotment list is prepared by NTRUHS. The seats are assigned based on the candidates’ choices and their positions in the state merit list.

Reporting to the Institute

Selected candidates must report to the institute of their choice to confirm their admission seat by paying the course & college fee. The seats that remain vacant after the reporting phase is completed will be carried forward to the following round.

Andhra Pradesh NEET Counselling Document Verification

Following that, shortlisted candidates must report to the counselling centres with three sets of authenticated copies of relevant documents.

Candidates must also submit a printout of their application during the document verification process.

Candidates must include a passport-sized photograph in the application form printer copy.

  • NEET 2022 Admit Card/ Rank Card
  • SSC or equivalent examinations (for showing the date of birth)
  • Transfer certificate
  • Study certificate(s) from 6th class to intermediate
  • Qualifying Exam Certificate
  • Residence certificate of the candidate or either parent issued by MRO / Tahasildar of Telangana/AP for a period of ten -years (Period to be specified with exact month and year) excluding the period of study/employment out-side the state.
  • Candidates claiming quota eligibility under Special Categories must provide the required certificate in support of their claim Permanent Caste Certificate (Integrated Community Certificate) seeking reservation under BC/SC/ST Categories issued by an Officer mandated.
  • In order to be eligible for fee exemption, the parent’s most recent income certificate issued by MRO/Tahsildar or white ration card
  • Aadhar Card
  • Minority certificate issued by Minorities Welfare Department, Government of AP.

Andhra Pradesh NEET Counselling FAQ’s

www.ntruhs.ap.nic.in is the official website of Andhra Pradesh NEET Counseling 2022

The NEET AP cutoff will be released online by Dr NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada.

Through AP NEET 2022 counselling, as many as 5,210 seats in 31 medical colleges would be filled.

According to the official website data, more than 5170 MBBS seats have been added for the upcoming session 2022-23. Similarly, about 3205 MBBS seats were added previous year (2020).

The AP NEET Cutoff for MBBS 2022 has not yet been released. However, the cutoff list is likely to be revealed in the second week of November 2022. (tentatively)

The eligibility percentage for participation in Andhra Pradesh NEET Counselling 2022 is as follows: OC, BC, SC/ ST-Cutoff Score must be in the 50th, 40th, and 40th percentiles in NEET UG, respectively.

The AP NEET counselling procedure is expected to begin (tentatively) in the second week of November,  after the completion of the centralised NEET counselling
